2)　Yes.　I think that it is important for the Japanese government to promote the study of Japanese as a foreign language, and I have some reasons.　First, if Japanese is studied around the world, many people will buy teaching materials such as textbooks and CDs, which will enable us to make much money.　Second, if more people around the world speak Japanese, Japan can increase its influence at the international level.　Therefore, I think the Japanese government should make more effort to promote the study of Japanese.
