(英文:The phenomenon of fake news is not new, nor is the concept of post-truth. The Colbert Report introduced us to the concept of "truthiness" over a decade ago, warning us, though comically, of the danger of accepting information and stories because they appeal to our emotions and not because they are supported by any real evidence or facts. Today, journalists and the media remain on high alert and are warning people about the confusion that surrounds the media landscape. Lies that are claimed as facts are spread daily, and fact-based information or reporting that contradicts the audience's worldview is quickly and incorrectly labeled as fake news, further confusing citizens who should know better.)

You can judge whether the news you get is true or not by checking multiple sources of it. If all of the different independent sources say the same thing, you can trust that the news is certainly true. It is important to check several sources so as to judge if the news is true or not. (56 words)

In order to judge whether the news you get is true or not, you have to identify who is reporting it. If you can identify who they are or locate its source, the news is relatively reliable. On the other hand, if you cannot find where the news comes from, you had better not believe it. (56 words)
