I disagree with the statement for several reasons. First of all, boxing is totally different from physical violence. Boxing has dozens of strict rules which all boxers have to obey. What is more, they all make a tremendous effort for years to be a boxer, and only a small number of them can participate in the Olympic games. Therefore, you should never identify boxing with violence. Second, even if someone may find boxing dangerous, it should not be replaced from the Olympics just because it is potentially dangerous. The ancient Olympics were fought by athletes literally at the risk of their life. So, according to the original idea of the Olympics, boxing and other physically active sports should be accepted as Olympic sports. For these reasons, I do not agree with the statement above. (問題文:Although boxing has a history of over a hundred years as an Olympic sport, some people argue that boxing and other sports based on physical violence should have no place in the Olympics. Do you agree with this statement? Write a paragraph giving one or more convincing reasons to support your position/)
