Question: Today in Japan, many buildings and public areas have a lot of lights for decoration, such as the lights used during Christmas. Do you think this is a good idea?

【解答例】

　I don’t think that is a good idea.　I have two reasons for that.　First, turning on too many lights during the night is not good for the environment because it needs a lot of electricity, which is largely generated by burning fossil fuel in Japan.　Second, decoration lights may have a harmful effect on the ecosystem, for because of them living creatures in the wild such as birds and insects may be derived of enough sleep.　For these reasons, I don’t think decoration lights should be encouraged too much.　(90 words)
